About the Film

A fifteen-second concept film for the flatbed IVECO Daily, on a winding country road at sunset.

What is in the frame

The flatbed Daily moves along a tarmac road winding through low hills. A vineyard on the right, cut wheat on the left, a stone farmhouse behind. The sky runs from orange into deep blue — the last minutes of golden hour.

The body takes that light two different ways: the top of the bonnet goes warm orange while the side panel picks up the blue of the sky. That split is what tells you the scene happens at a specific moment of a real day. A vehicle lit by a single colour of light looks like a studio shot regardless of what the sky is doing.

The hard part

Golden hour is light that AI imitates easily and gets wrong easily. The sky can be exactly the right colour while the shadows give it away. A low sun means long shadows falling across the road. In several attempts the sky said evening and the shadows said midday.

The flatbed also could not read as empty. An empty bed makes the vehicle look idle; an overloaded one breaks the composition. The balance is in keeping the edge line of the bed visible.

Where we shoot, where we generate

On a real shoot, golden hour lasts about forty minutes a day. That is a window a good crew plans around and protects — and what gets captured inside it has a quality of its own. For a campaign film, waiting for that window is worth it.

At the decision stage there is nothing to wait for. "Does this vehicle look better at sunset or in morning mist" can be answered without spending two shoot days on it.

The same applies to season. If a campaign is built in winter for summer release, producing the summer look in winter is a concrete problem AI solves.

We produce on-location vehicle imagery for commercial vehicle, agricultural machinery and logistics brands. Season and time-of-day variants keep a campaign calendar from being tied to a single shoot date.
