About the Film

A bath loofah in a lifestyle scene. A ten-second AI video showing the product in use.

What is in the frame

A shower lined in dark green metro tile. Steam has gathered along the top of the frame and droplets sit in the grout lines. A single metal hook breaks the wall; otherwise the scene is bare.

A figure with their back to camera lifts a woven bath loofah to one shoulder. Foam spreads down from the shoulder line. Ten seconds of product-in-use — the aim is not to introduce the product but to show the moment it is used.

The hard part

Foam took the most work. It is bulky and translucent at once, it both holds and runs, and it transmits light while scattering it. The foam on the shoulder could not stay at one density across ten seconds; it had to descend slowly without breaking apart. That section was handled separately so the border between skin and foam never hardened into a line.

Steam was the second problem. It had to soften the tile surface without swallowing the grout lines, so the frame kept its depth. Too much and the scene flattens; too little and the shower loses its warmth.

Where we shoot, where we generate

The product was photographed for real. The tightness of the weave, the texture of the yarn and the form it takes wet and dry all came from those frames. That detail matters, because a bath loofah changes visibly once it is wet — working forward from the dry version and guessing at the wet one does not give you the right answer.

The generated layer built the scene around that real material. The product itself was never open to interpretation; the shower, the steam and the light were what got built.

Principal campaign shoots with a model still happen on set. Water hitting real skin, the hesitation inside a person's own movement, steam coming off actual water — none of that has a substitute. Generation carries the product material from that shoot into other scenes and other channels.

Where this is useful

We produce e-commerce and social content for personal care, bath and home goods brands. The vertical format works with the sound off and reads on its own; it was built to show the moment of use on a product page.
