What is in the frame

A highway at night. A truck with a blue cab runs in the left-hand lane, carrying no body — the chassis and wheels sit exposed behind it. IVECO is readable across the front, along with the mirror arms. The headlights open a white pool of asphalt ahead.

The hard part

A truck without a body is one of the hardest vehicle types to build. A closed box hides surface; here the chassis, axles, wheels and mountings are all exposed, and everything has to stay mechanically consistent with everything else. Leave one mounting unattached and the eye catches it immediately.

The blue body is the second problem. A saturated colour has to keep its own hue under night lighting while still returning the yellow-orange light around it. Return too much and the colour goes dirty; too little and the vehicle stops belonging to the scene.

The third is the oncoming lane. The speed of those light trails had to run counter to the truck and stay consistent with it; when the two disagree, two different times appear to be running in one scene.

Where we shoot, where we generate

This is a concept scene. The vehicle form was built from reference imagery; in the heavy vehicle category, body geometry is not negotiable.

Real photography keeps its place. How a truck actually sits on a road, weight settling into the suspension, the cab leaning slightly through a bend — those are things that enter the lens on location.

Generation earns its place testing angle, hour and weather before anyone goes out on the road.
