About the Film

A fifteen-second ad for a wool dryer ball. The product is not shown on its own but inside the moment it is used.

What is in the frame

A woman loads laundry into a washing machine, in a grey knit sweater and cream trousers. In a wicker basket beside her, folded laundry with three white wool balls resting on top. The room is a modern utility space with marble walls and wooden cabinetry; warm light comes in from the right.

The product is not at the centre of the frame. That is deliberate: a wool dryer ball is a hard product to explain on its own, but seen inside a laundry routine it explains itself.

The hard part

A person and an object in the same shot. Her hand touches the laundry, the laundry goes into the drum — those contact points had to be right. AI produces figures well and objects well, but consistency falls apart where they meet.

Second, the texture of the balls. Felted wool is neither a smooth sphere nor a fluffy tangle; the surface is slightly irregular without being furry. All three had to look like they came off the same production line.

Where we shoot, where we generate

Lifestyle footage shot in a real home with a real person carries a credibility of its own. The main campaign film is made that way, and that is where the face of the brand gets established.

But showing how a product sits across different home types and user profiles does not require finding a new house each time. In e-commerce that variation affects conversion directly.

This scene was made on that basis: the product is real, the environment and the moment of use are constructed.

Where this is useful

We produce in-use content for home, cleaning and lifestyle brands. The same production yields both product page imagery and social video.
